Obit: Dennis Zielicke, 63

Dennis R. “Wizard” Zielicke, age 63, found peace on Saturday, February 27, 2016 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in the town of Polk.

Dennis was born on August 21, 1952 to the late Lester and Joyce (nee Cotter) Zielicke in West Bend.  He proudly served his country in the United States Navy aboard the USS Lexington.  He loved the Green Bay Packers, camping, and spending time with friends and loved ones.  Anyone that knew Dennis knew that he had a heart for hunting, Harleys, and Vets.

Those Dennis leaves behind to cherish his memory include his two sons, Christopher Zielicke (special friend Karina Demlow) of Boltonville and Justin Zielicke of Boltonville.  He is further survived by other relatives and many close friends.

In addition to his parents, Dennis was preceded in death by his son, Anthony Zielicke; and his grandmother, Ida Zielicke.

A funeral service in remembrance of Dennis will be held on Saturday, March 5th, at 12:00 pm at the Myrhum Patten Miller & Kietzer Funeral Home (215 Forest Ave. Kewaskum, WI 53040).  Visitation will be at the funeral home on Saturday from 10 am until the time of service at noon.

Following the service a motorcycle procession led by a “Harley Hearse” will lead us to Boltonville Union Cemetery where military honors will be performed.  Everyone is invited to bring their bike and take part in this final farewell tribute to Dennis.

The family would like to offer a sincere thank you to everyone who was a part of Dennis’ life over the years.  Their friendship has meant more than words can ever express.
