Edna was a hardworking, loving, farm wife, helping her husband on the farm for over 30 years. She worked part-time cleaning at UWWC and the Holiday Inn. She was employed for a short time at Enger-Kress. Besides her gardening, baking and sewing, she still treasured time with her family. So many hours were spent caring for others and staying awake at night doing household chores and hobbies such as crocheting, cross stitching, jig saw puzzles and playing Sheepshead.
She was loved and respected by her family and survived by her children Russ (fiancée Audie Gabrielse) of West Bend and Jan (Ron) Guse of West Bend, 4 grandchildren: Kimberly Breit, Brian (Jodi) Breit, Nicole (Dan) Heisdorf and Christopher (Carrie) Guse and 11 great-grandchildren: Sawyer, Delaney, Charles, Maxwell, Franklin, Cade, Lauren, Carissa, Carson, Kira and Paige. She is further survived by her brother Don (Garnet) Schneider, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Edna was preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Rose Schneider, her husband Arthur, her daughter-in-law Judy Breit, and her sisters Alice (Frances) Wiedmeyer and Louise (Edward) Marx.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 12, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. at the Schmidt Funeral Home in West Bend with Dan Schroeder officiating. The family will greet relatives on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until 5:45 p.m.
Burial will be Friday in St. Mary’s New Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to St. Mary’s Immaculate Conception Church or to be used as the family chooses.
