Jacob J. Temmer of Cedarburg, is now resting in the arms of Jesus at the age of 18, on June 19, 2016.

Jacob was born in Platteville, WI on November 1, 1997 the loving son of Jim & Jan (Nee Schroeder). Jacob enjoyed time spent with friends, teammates, co-workers and relatives. Jake enjoyed playing many sports growing up but his passion was hockey. He loved playing hockey for 12 years, winning several youth state titles, and in 2015 a CHS Varsity run to state. Remembered for his bright smile and caring soul by his classmates, friends and family.

Jacob enjoyed being in the Northwood’s. He would spend all day fishing and joking in the boat. Evenings around the campfire or playing cards were always highlights. The Temmer’s once brought the Old Faithful Lodge to silence, as everyone in the place was listening to our loud talking, laughing and yelling, or as we call it, a normal game of Euchre.

Family time was full of wide-ranging conversations with no subject or viewpoint being off-limits. Our brilliant boys taught each other and their parents every day. Jacob honed his sardonic wit trading barbs around the nightly dinner table. Every moment spent with our beautiful son was a blessing.

Jake is survived by his parents Jim & Jan; beloved brother Andy; Loving grandson of Carol Ann (the late Donald) Temmer and the late Rolland and Evelyn Schroeder; Aunts and Uncles: Randy (Cheryl) Schroeder, Sherry (Steve) Atkinson, Amy (Tim) Thorison, Joe (Annie) Schroeder, Jeff Temmer and Jill (Gene) Barz; Cousins: Cara Schroeder, Jon (Vin) Schroeder, Shaun (Susan) Atkinson, Scott (Troy) Atkinson, Michael Thorison, Megan Thorison, Nick Thorison; Jenny (Dan) Richards, Alia Schroeder, Carolyn Schroeder, Nick Hense and Nathan Hense. Further survived by other relatives and many friends.

Memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 23 – 7:00 PM at Christ Church 13460 N. Port Washington Rd. Mequon, WI. Family will receive friends at the church on Thursday from 3:00 PM – 6:45 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Cedarburg Community Scholarship Fund (CCSF) appreciated.
