Janice Elayne Bertram (nee Frusher), age 58, passed away peacefully in her home near Newburg, WI on Tuesday, October 18, 2016. She was born to Bruce and Gladys (nee Pierron) on April 13, 1958 in West Bend, WI. Janice graduated from West Bend East High School in 1976 and received an Associate Degree from Moraine Park Technical College.
After working for Allen Edmonds Shoe Company in Belgium, WI for several years, she spent the rest of her working career with IFS as a Product Support Analyst.
Janice married Daniel Bertram on June 9, 1984. Janice and Dan spent their life together having a number of shared interests. They enjoyed gardening and had a large vegetable garden at home. For several years they had a boat which they docked in Port Washington. They enjoyed cruises on Lake Michigan, often taking the opportunity to fish. For the past few years, they spent time camping in their motor home. Dan’s unexpected death in January, 2016 was a terrible shock for Janice.
She is survived by her mother, Gladys Schmidt, her step-father, Ralph Schmidt; brothers, James (Cheri) Frusher and Gary Frusher; step-sister, Christine Schmidt; step-brother, Paul Schmidt. Peanut, her little dog, will also sorely miss Janice.
She is preceded in death by her father Bruce and her husband Dan.
A Memorial Service will be held at 6:00PM on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel (1420 W. Paradise Dr., West Bend, WI) with Deacon Ron Schneider presiding. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 4:00PM until the time of service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to individual’s favorite charities in Janice’s name.
