Obit: John S. Kucharski, 62, of West Bend

March 12, 2018 – West Bend, WI – John S. Kucharski, 62, passed away Saturday March 10, 2018 at his residence with his family at his side. He was born on May 20, 1955 to Roman and Theresa (nee Pelkowski) Kucharski. He graduated from Milwaukee Boys Tech with the class of “73”. On June 18, 1977 John married Deborah Wroblewski in Milwaukee and they began their family. John was employed at Compo Steel and previously at Tramont Company. John enjoyed hunting, going to Florida, playing his concertina, polka music, spending time with his grandkids, cooking and entertaining his family, his Pabst Blue Ribbon, woodworking and just keeping busy.

John is survived by his wife Debbie, his children; Steven (Christine), Richard (Cristal) and Kenneth (Ashley), grandchildren; Danielle, Noah, Mila, Grant, Klaire and Shayla, his sister Jane Biscontine, brothers; Michael (Barbara) Kucharski, James (Donna) Kucharski and Paul (Diane) Kucharski, his brothers-in-law
Richard (Krista) Wroblewski, Michael (Cindy) Wroblewski and Tim (Penny) Wroblewski, many other relatives and friends. John was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law Sandy Biscontine.

 

 

 

A Mass of Christian Burial for John will be held on Thursday March 15 at 10 a.m.  at Holy Angels Catholic Church (138 N 8th Ave West Bend) with Fr. Patrick Heppe presiding. Visitation will be at the Phillip Funeral Home (1420 W. Paradise Dr. West Bend) on Wednesday March 14 from 4-7 p.m. with a prayer vigil at 7 p.m. Interment will be at Washington County Memorial Park Cemetery.

The family would like to thank all of the extended family, their many friends and Annette at Horizon Hospice for their support and care, for all they did for John.
