Obit: Jordan M. Becker, 16, Hartford

qqJordan M. Becker, “Jo-Jo”, age 16 of Hartford, Wisconsin passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, October 6, 2016.

Jordan was born on October 7, 2000 in Menomonee Falls, WI to Jamie (nee Amos) and Shane Becker. He was a student at Hartford Union High School.

 

He loved snowboarding, biking, skate boarding and hanging out with friends and family, especially his brothers and cousins. He also enjoyed racing at Slinger Speedway where he was known as “The Minnow.”

Jordan will be remembered as a kindhearted, caring, polite, and selfless person always looking out for others.

Jordan is survived by his loving parents, Jamie and Shane Becker; caring brothers, Dakota Amos and Kendall Becker; dear grandparents, Nancy and Mark Amos and Sheryl and Roger Otte; and dear great-grandparents, Jack and Joan Amos. He is further survived by many loved aunts, uncles, great aunts and uncles, cousins, other cherished relatives and so many friends.

He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Mark Becker and paternal great-grandparents.

Funeral Services for Jordan will be held on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at 5:00 p.m.  the Shimon Funeral Home (824 Union Street Hartford, WI 53027) with Rev.  Lars Skoglund officiating.  Family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 1:00-5:00p.m.

  1. Jordan was a really good friend of mine… everyone knew him at hubs. Friday just the day after the tragedy we started te day off with hearing of this horrible tragedyafter hearing it
    Everyone was in tears including the teachers. The whole day everyone was quiet and most were in tears for awhile.. it was a really hard day to focus in my opinion ;( anyways Jordan Becker will be missed! He is in a better place and he will be well taken care of 🙂
