Obit: Logan Johnson, 8, of Hartford

June 2, 2017 – Hartford, WI – Logan C. Johnson, age 8, of Hartford went to the arms of his loving Savior on Saturday, May 27, 2017 in Milwaukee at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin.

Logan was born on October 9, 2008 in Hartford, WI to Christopher and Laurie (nee Fochs) Johnson. Logan was in 2nd grade at St. Kilian School and loved his classes and friends. He enjoyed reading Diary of a Wimpy Kid books. Logan loved to play his “electronic devices” including the Wii.  His favorite sports were soccer, baseball, and basketball.

He loved to swim and “wrestle” with his dad and brother in the living room.  Logan would love nothing more than to make others laugh and his belly laugh would bring a smile to anyone’s face.

His love of Jesus and the growth of his faith were ever present.  He learned the true value of loving others and often talked about helping the poor.

Days before he was admitted to the hospital Logan asked what his purpose was and why God made him.  Through this event Logan brought thousands of people together in prayer and renewed their faith in God and what it truly means to walk in the light of Christ.

Logan is survived by his loving and proud parents, Christopher and Laurie; his siblings, Ashley and Adam; loving grandparents, Michael (Diane) Fochs and Michael (Eleanor) Johnson; and his dearest aunts and uncles, Dianna (Bob) Glynn, Janna (Pete) Smith, Michele (Pete) Marshall and Tammy (Greg) Yager. He is further survived by many loved cousins, great aunts and uncles, and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his great grandparents, Adelia Schmidt, Robert Schmidt, Hubert (Delores) Fochs, Ernest (Margaret) Johnson and Arthur (Helen) Lange.
