Obit: Marian R. Wiskirchen, nee Hahn, 90, of West Bend

Nov. 8, 2017 – West Bend, WI – Marian R. Wiskirchen, nee Hahn, of West Bend, died on Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at The Waterford of West Bend at the age of 90 years. She was born on June 5, 1927 in Nabob to the late Oscar and Anna (nee Karius) Hahn.

The family moved to West Bend. She attended Holy Angels Grade School, and later graduated from West Bend High School.

On September 6, 1947, she was united in marriage to Jerome F. “Speed” Wiskirchen at Holy Angels Catholic Church. Jerome predeceased November 15, 2014.

She worked at Enger Kress Company and Amity Leather Products Company, retiring after more than 25 years of employment.

She was a member of the 25 Year Club at Amity, the Fred A. Schaefer Post 1393 VFW Auxiliary and the Christian Women’s Confraternity at Holy Angels Parish.

Survivors include 4 children Sandie (Fred, Sr.) Buettner of Milwaukee, Gerri (Bernie) Kikkert of West Bend, Bob of West Bend and Rita (Dan) Carstens of West Bend; 8 grandchildren: Fred, Jr. (fiancée Corina) Buettner, Wendy (Chad) Rosenthal, Shawn (Carol) Buettner, Brian (Niki) Kikkert, Tim (Alaina) Kikkert, Kim Kikkert, Tom Carstens and Nichole Carstens; 9 great-grandchildren: Kaylee and Ashlynn Buettner, Aiden, Nolen and Jaxen Rosenthal, Tyler and Dylan Buettner and Avery and Aaron Kikkert; 1 sister-in-law Ginny Hahn of California; 1 brother-in-law Richard Klein of West Bend; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 2 brothers Jerome (Mary) Hahn and Florian Hahn and 1 sister Bernadette Klein.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, November 11 at 12 noon at Holy Angels Catholic Church with Fr. Jerome Repenshek presiding. Burial will be Monday in Holy Angels Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday at the church from 10 until 11:45 a.m.

Masses or memorials to Holy Angels Church appreciated.
