July 18, 2017 – West Bend, WI – Norman M. Kutz, 89, transitioned to his eternal home on Monday, July 17, 2017, in his home in West Bend, surrounded by his entire family. He was born in Fond Du Lac on April, 23 1928 to Ervin and Alma (nee Ramthum) Kutz.  He was raised in Dundee, WI and began to work in West Bend for Pick Manufacturing, where he worked for 47 years.  Norman served in the U.S. Army from 1950-1952 and the Reserves for 4 more years. He married Rosemary (nee Baganz) Kutz on November 29, 1952 and together they raised 8 children. Norman was an avid fisherman, hunter, and gardener. He enjoyed going up to their cabin in Tipler, WI. Norman and Rosemary were part of the We Love to Dance Club, he was a member of the Rock River League Baseball Hall of Fame, a die-hard Brewer fan and his favorite Winter-pass-time was shelling hickory nuts.  He especially loved the time spent with his family.
Norman is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Rosemary; 8 children Sharon (Charles) Klug, Beverly (James) Schleif, Ervin (Rosemary) Kutz, Brenda (Rick) Wagner, Roger (Terri) Kutz, Gail (Patrick) Brown, Janet (Mark Eilbes) Schneiss, Patsy (Bob) Hamm; 13 grandchildren Angela (Matt) Nierode, Danielle Klug, Ashley (Matt) Ingish, Mitchell, Tyler and Ryan Kutz, Aubrey and Brent Wagner, Zachary, Mason and Lucas Brown, Summer Schneiss and Bradley Hamm; 2 great-grandchildren Mackenzie Nierode and Cooper Ingish; brother Ralph (Kathleen) Kutz; sisters-in-law Dorothy (Harold) Freund and Ione Baganz. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Norman is preceded in death by his infant son Joseph, 2 infant grandchildren, parents, step-dad Clarence Bohn, his sister Marilyn Schultz and his brother-in-law Edward Baganz
Visitation will be from 4:00PM until 7:00PM on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at Good Shepherd Ev. Lutheran Church (777 S. Indiana Ave. West Bend, WI 53095).  A second Visitation will be from 9:30AM until the time of the service at 10:30AM on Thursday, July 20, 2017 at Good Shepherd Ev. Lutheran Church (777 S. Indiana Ave. West Bend, WI 53095) with Pastor Robert Hein and Pastor Richard Lauersdorf presiding. Interment will follow at the New St. Mary’s Cemetery.
