Robert E. Angeli, 85, of West Bend, found Eternal peace on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at Cedar Community, West Bend.

He was born on September 15, 1930 to the late Tranquillo and Sestilia (nee Petrini) in Milwaukee WI.
Bob started early in life practicing one of the things he ended up living his whole life by: loving every minute of what he was doing. Directly after high-school he traveled to California and the West Coast, taking in all of its natural beauty as he had a passion for art. He found himself back in Wisconsin only to marry the love of his life, Lois. In adulthood he worked hand-in-hand with his father and brother in their family business of Angeli Artcraft where they repaired, fixed, worked on, and created their own masterpieces. Their work ranged from statues and plaster work, to their own molds for plaques. His and their work can still be found in many people’s homes, as well as buildings like The Oriental (Milwaukee), Carmelite Sisters of the Divine Heart of Jesus (Wauwatosa), Our Lady of Sorrows (Milwaukee), The Riverside (Milwaukee), and many other various places of worship and business.

He raised six children who all went on to also follow in his footsteps: to do what they love. Laura, loved art and her children and has shown that in her cake decorating, drawings, and love of being a stay-at-home-mom for many years. Paul, accomplished in school and his career had a strong passion for drums and singing, who later settled into life with his wife and his three children (dogs). Bobby, too had an undeniable love of music which started early in life and has carried that out with his band ever since. Lisa, who loved motherhood and spending time with her daughter as well as bringing humor and laughter to all events. Lynn, accomplished in her career has gone on and maneuvered her way through a field of work that is challenging and to have been very successful. He was proud of all of his little works of art (his children) and was everyone’s advocate and biggest supporter. He was always humble, kind, forthright, and soft in his convictions with open arms and the infinite forgiveness for those who sought after it.
Those Robert leave behind to cherish his memory include his five children, Laura (Mark) Hirtreiter, Paul (Jeanine) Angeli, Lisa Hirtreiter, Bobby (Mary Vasquez) Angeli, and Lynn (Fiancé Nick) Angeli; three grandchildren, Mark Angeli, Theresa (Sam) Krohn, and Angela Hirtreiter; one great-grandson, Noah Hirtreiter; nephew, Michael (Kathy) Angeli; great nephew, John Angeli; great niece, Elizabeth Angeli; other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Mark Angeli; sister, Lydia Angeli; brother, John (Mary) Angeli; and son-in-law, Phil Hirtreiter.

A private family service in remembrance of Robert will be held on a later date. Father Jeff Haines from The Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Milwaukee is officiating.

A special thank you to Jessi (Nurse Manager), Nikki (RN), and all the staff at Cedar Community. We can’t thank you enough for the excellent care and warm loving environment that you provided our father. Also Robert’s daughter, Laura for all their help and care. Also a special thank you to father Jeff for his time and help with the family.
