V. Annette Schwanke (nee McClellan), age 83 years of Hartford, passed away Friday, August 26, 2016 at Wellington Place.
Viola was born on October 20, 1932 in Chicago, IL to William and Ellen (nee Johnson) McClellan.  Viola was raised in Milwaukee and met her late husband Donald and were married on Oct 21, 1952.  She worked for Manpower in Milwaukee and later retired.  After her retirement, she and Don loved living up north at their retirement home in Three Lakes. Viola loved crafts, animals and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She was a member of The Regency River Shores crafting club.
Viola is survived by her son Scott, former daughter-in-law Sharon Schwanke and dear friend Kathryn Tucker.  She is further survived by her grandchildren: Jennifer (Zack) Nebel, Brandon Schwanke, Stacey Schwanke, Angela (Mike) Kraus, Amanda Lucas, great-grandchildren: Dominic Jashek, Sawyer Nebel, Aidan Kraus, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  Preceded in death by her parents, husband Donald, sons Gene and Steven, brothers and sisters.
