Obituary | Audrey Annie Hultman (Charlier), 89, of Slinger

August 8, 2019 – Slinger, WI –Audrey Annie Hultman, (nee Charlier), 89, passed away Tuesday August 6, 2019 in Slinger. She was born on January 8, 1930 to Marcell and Mary (nee Graye) Charlier in Nadeau Township, Michigan. She was born into a farming family in upper Michigan , and attended Carney High School through the 10th grade. Audrey was married at the tender age of 17 to Louis W. Hultman who was a military bound man on October 29, 1947. She raised 11 children to adulthood, Audrey enjoyed doing Scouts with her children and many of Slinger’s youth for over 20 years, earning a Silver Beaver Award from the Girl Scouts of America.

Audrey was a member of Senior Friends, Christian Mothers, Big Lou’s Band, Senior Band, Scout Leader, Den Mother, Bowling League and the Slinger American Legion Women’s Auxiliary.

Audrey is survived by her children; Bert, Shirley (Dan) Betram and family, Barb (Dave) Sholar and family, Louis “Tony” (Natti) and family, John Hultman and Carol Fletcher and family, Debra “Deb” (Larry) Sackmann, Thomas “Tom” (Emmy) and family, Charlotte (Josh) Matti and grandson Tim Gahlman, Roberta “Bobbie” Temple and family, James “Jim” and (Janet Kamphaus), Franklin’s children and grandchildren, many grandchildren and many, many, great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Louis, sons Franklin and Calvin and grandsons Joey and Allen.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday August 13 at St. Peter Catholic Church, 200 E. Washington St. Slinger, WI 53086, with Rev. Richard Stoffel presiding, Visitation will be at the church on Tuesday from 9 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. Burial will follow at the New St. Peter Cemetery.

The family would like to thank all her Senior Friends and extensive group of friends, family and neighbors who made her smile, laugh and enjoy life!
