Obituary | Donna M. (Kaczmarek) Heimerl, 84, of Lomira

September 16, 2019 – Lomira, WI –Donna M. Heimerl (nee Kaczmarek), 84, of Lomira was called home to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 14, 2019 at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac, WI.

She was born on November 24, 1934 to the late Alfred and Antoinette (nee Liszewski) Kaczmarek in Milwaukee WI. Donna graduated from Riverside High School. She worked at Pete’s Bakery in Milwaukee. On June 19, 1954 she was united in marriage to Clarence “Jim” Heimerl Jr. at St. Mary of Czestochowa in Milwaukee WI. She volunteered various ways at St. Mary’s helping with the rummage sale and serving at funerals. She also worked at the blood drive at the Methodist Church in Lomira. Donna enjoyed reading, puzzles, and her bowling leagues. She especially enjoyed spending time with her granddaughters. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Those Donna leaves behind to cherish her memory include her daughter, Mary (Ed) Roth; granddaughters, Shannon (fiancée Nathan Zook) and Allison Roth; her sister, Collette (Bob) Smith; three sisters-in-law, Joann Hanson, Jeanne (Howie) Gilbert, and Judy Heimerl; brother-in-law, Ron (Renee) Heimerl; She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Clarence “Jim” Heimerl Jr.; her infant son, Michael; her brother, George (Cecilia) Kaczmarek; her sister, Teresa (Jerry) Braier; and her father and mother-in-law, Clarence (Elsie) Heimerl Sr.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, September 20, 2019 at 1 p.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 699 Milwaukee St., Lomira.

The family will greet relatives and friends at the church on Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of Mass.

The Myrhum Patten Miller & Kietzer Funeral Homes have been entrusted with Donna’s arrangements.
