October 17, 2022 – Washington Co., WI – Frank Nonn, 83, passed away October 13, 2022, at his home, surrounded by his loving family.
Frank was born on April 21, 1939, in Yugoslavia, the son of John and Theresa (nee Heller) Nonn. On November 28, 1964, he was united in marriage to Ingrid Weber in Milwaukee. Frank proudly served his country in the U.S. Army from December 8, 1961 to November 21, 1963. He was a skilled carpenter and built several homes including their house. Frank and Ingrid loved spending time together at their home on Lake Poygan. He would often be birdwatching, gardening, alpine skiing, and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He loved soccer; he was a goalie for Milwaukee Sport Club and his favorite team was Bayern Munich.
Those Frank leaves behind to cherish his memory include his wife of 58 years, Ingrid; two children, Michelle (Ken) Cascio of Germantown and David (Kristine) Nonn of Germantown; a son-in-law, Jeff Twohig; his eight grandchildren, Amanda (Kevin) Blatz, Anthony (Ashley) Bauer, Taylor (Megan) Himes, William Cascio, Alexandra Nonn, Katherine Nonn, Tori (Todd) Jacklin, and Dillon Twohig; ten great-grandchildren, Harper Blatz, Frank Blatz, Louie Blatz, Johnny Bauer, Vince Bauer, Maddie Bauer, Landon Himes, Keegan Himes, Todd Jr. Jacklin, and Theo Jacklin; a sister, Theresa (Jakob) Webel; niece, nephew, other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Heidi Twohig; a brother, Jakob Nonn; a brother-in-law, George Weber; and in-laws Simon (Hermina) Weber.
VISITATION: Frank’s family will greet relatives and friends at Shepherd of the Hills Catholic Church, W1562 County Road B, Eden, on Friday, October 21, 2022, from 11 a.m. until noon.
MEMORIAL MASS: A Mass for Frank will be held on Friday at Shepherd of the Hills in Eden at noon with Rev. Mark Jones officiating.
