Obituary | James T. Naczek, 62, of Hubertus

December 10, 2019 –Hubertus, WI –James T. Naczek, 62 of Hubertus, Wisconsin passed away unexpectedly in his home Sunday, December 8, 2019.

James T. Naczek

James was born August 27, 1957 in Milwaukee, WI to Margaret K. (nee Willmes) and Arthur T. Naczek. He was united in marriage to Judy M. Laszlo on May 30, 1980 in Hales Corners, WI. He was a member of St. Mary of the Hill Parish in Hubertus for many years. Jim worked for Messer Cutting in Menomonee Falls, WI for 40 years. He enjoyed being on the lake and sailing, motorcycles, outdoor activities especially camping, and operating Ham radio.

Jim is survived by his cherished children, Melissa Naczek of Germantown, Michael (Erika) Naczek of Slinger, and Matthew Naczek of Hubertus; treasured granddaughters, Hailey and Abigail Naczek; dear brother, William Naczek of Jackson; and dear sister-in-law, Catherine (Peter) Strehlow of Milwaukee. He is further survived by his special friend, Irina of Fond du Lac; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Margaret Naczek; parents-in-law, Joseph and Margaret (nee Kiss) Laszlo; and his beloved wife of 35 years, Judy Naczek.

Visitation will be held Thursday, December 12, 2019 at the Shimon Funeral Home, 824 Union Street, Hartford, WI 53027, from 4:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. concluding with a Prayer Service.

Additional visitation will be held Friday, December 13, 2019 from 8 a.m. -8:45 a.m. at the St. Therese Chapel (lower level of the Basilica of the National Shrine of Mary, Help of Christians, at Holy Hill, 1525 Carmel Road, Hubertus, WI 53033), with Mass of Resurrection at 9 a.m. with Rev. Bonaventure Lussier, OCD officiating.

Immediately following Mass, interment in St. Mary of the Hill Parish Cemetery (formerly St. Augustine), Hubertus, Wisconsin.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to The Milwaukee Rescue Mission (830 N. 19th Street – Milwaukee, WI 53233) are greatly appreciated.
