Dec. 18, 2018 – West Bend, WI – Jody M. Ludwig of West Bend died on Saturday, Dec. 15, 2018 at the age of 45 years. He was born on February 17, 1973 in West Bend to Billie and Vickie (nee Oresnik) Ludwig.
He attended area schools, graduating from Kewaskum High School with the Class of 1991.
On November 1, 1998, he married Corrine Ott at St. Lucas Evangelical Lutheran Church in Kewaskum.
He worked for C&K Services in Newburg for 18 years. He then worked for International Concrete Products in Germantown.
He loved sports of all kinds, both as a spectator and participant. Football, baseball, basketball, fishing, hunting were among his favorites.
Above all else, he cherished his family. He is survived by his children Michael and Lindsay; his grandson Mason and grandchild to born next year; parents, Vickie Ludwig and Billie Ludwig; grandparents Stella and Elton Ludwig; sisters Tracy (Steven) Lightfoot and Denise Bergseth (Brad Niekamp); 2 nieces Carolanne and Cailey Bishop, 3 nephews Zachary Shipley, Christopher Bergseth and Austyn Kutz; aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Fay and Ludwig Oresnik, great-grandparents, Irene and Elmer Fuller and Vilas and Evelyn Ludwig; and an uncle Ludwig Oresnik.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 20 at 7 p.m. at the Schmidt Funeral Home in West Bend with Rev. David Schoob officiating. The family will greet relatives and friends during a period of visitation at the funeral home on Thursday from 4 until 6:45 p.m.
