Obituary | Louis P. “Butch” Jenz, 73, of West Bend

December 23, 2019 – West Bend, WI – Louis “Butch” P. Jenz, 73, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 22, 2019 at The Kathy Hospice in West Bend. He was born on September 2, 1946 in Random Lake, WI to Louis III and Irene (nee Hoverson) Jenz. He proudly served in the U.S. Air Force and was honorably discharged in 1968.

Butch is survived by his children, Tammy (Diane Cooley) Jenz, Bryan (Carrie) Jenz; grandchildren, Savannah (fiancé Hunter Demmon), Mya and Karissa; siblings, Lowell (Nancy), Roger (Marian), Sharon Ball and the mother of his children, Carol West. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Butch is preceded in death by his parents, brother-in-law Russell Ball Sr. and nephew Scott Jenz.

A Memorial Service will be at 6 p.m. on Friday, January 3, 2020 at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel, 1420 W Paradise Dr. West Bend, WI 53095, with Rev. John C. Bass presiding. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Friday, January 3 from 4 p.m. until 5:45 p.m. Private Interment will be at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove, WI.

In lieu in flowers memorials are appreciated to The Kathy Hospice (3232 Pleasant Valley Rd. West Bend, WI 53095).

A special thank you to Kathy, Michelle, Diana for the loving care over the last few years, the nursing staff at West Bend Hospital and to the staff of The Kathy Hospice for their unconditional care and support.
