Slinger, WI – Edward F. Paukstat, 73, of Reedsburg, passed away on Wednesday, December 25, 2024, with family by his side.
Edward was born on October 31, 1951, to Ernest and June (Brown) Paukstat in Oshkosh. He graduated from Reedsburg High School, Class of 1970. He attended UW-Platteville, where he met his wife and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in education.
Edd married Cynthia Meyer on June 14, 1975, in Manitowoc, together they had two children. He taught math and social studies at Slinger Middle School. Edd enjoyed hunting, fishing, and traveling with Cindy, especially going to different casinos. They spent a lot of time on the road and playing Yahtzee.
Edd is survived by his children, Ryan (Jenn) Paukstat, Sara Paukstat; brothers, William Paukstat, Al (Janice) Paukstat and Justin (Becky) Phippen.
He was preceded in death by his parents, June and Ernest, his wife of 48 years, Cynthia, and his brother, Jim Paukstat.
A Celebration of Life will be held and announced at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in Edd’s name to Agrace Hospice.
The Redlin-Ertz Funeral Home in Baraboo is assisting the family.
