September 9, 2019 – West Bend, WI – Petronella R. Krutke (nee Arbinger), 95, of West Bend died Saturday, September 7, 2019 at the Samaritan Health Center. She was born November 13, 1923 to Frank and Rose (nee Beck) Arbinger and married Frank A. Krutke on September 24, 1949 in Juneau. Frank preceded her in death on January 27, 1990.
Petronella worked at Bloomberg Leather and Stolper Industries, both in Menomonee Falls for many years until her retirement. She was an avid reader and once her eyesight started failing she began to listen to audiobooks.
Petronella in survived by 4 children: Rosanne (Larry) Linder of West Bend, Charlotte Krutke of West Allis, Frank Krutke of West Bend and Janice (Bill) Ward, 7 grandchildren: Michael Linder, David Linder, Jason Krutke, Jared Smith, Joseph (Sara) Krutke, Brandon LaBelle and Christine LaBelle and 4 great-grandchildren. She is further survived by her sister, Margaret Qualmann of West Bend, her brother Frank Arbinger of Milwaukee and nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Rose Arbinger, her husband Frank Krutke and her sister Kathrine Kintopp.
A memorial service will be held Friday, September 13, 2019 at 11:30 a.m. at the Schmidt Funeral Home in West Bend with Rev. Howard Haase officiating. Inurnment will follow in Washington County Memorial Park. The family will greet visitors on Friday, at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until 11:15 a.m.
