Jan. 2, 2019 – Hartford, WI – Ruth May Rego (nee Bull) age 91 of Hartford, Wisconsin passed away Sunday, December 23, 2018 at the Gardens of Hartford.
Ruth was born May 4, 1927 in the Town of Merton, WI to Irene E. (nee Lund) and Walter Bull. She was united in marriage to Francis R. Rego on June 20, 1947 at St. Clare’s Catholic Church in North Lake.
Ruth is survived by her loving children, Susie (Kenny) Brandt, Aileen (Jim) Lake, Tom (Karen) Rego, and Sally (Tim) Wasinack; son-in-law, Kenny Staus; daughters-in-law, Sharon and Debbie Rego; 15 cherished grandchildren, Tracy (Tim) Murray, Ryan (Denny) Rego, Ben (Keri) Brandt, Justin (Jessie) Curler, Jessica (fiancé, Luke) Curler-Sutter, Matt (Amy) Curler, Jeanne (Jeff) Ohser, Kevin (Jodi) Staus, Katie (Mike) Enders, Kim (Steve) D’Amato, Lindsey (Burt) Hesse, Karrie (Jim) Hoch, Shannon (Daniel) O’Rourke, Nick Rego, and Baylee Wasinack; and 28 cherished great-grandchildren; dear siblings, Florence Elsinger, Doris (Carl) Boettcher, and Shirley Bauer. She is further survived by other dear relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Irene Bull; loving husband of 58 years, Frank; sons, Gerald and Ken; daughter, Judy Staus; grandson, Joe Wasinack; brothers, Raymond and Ernest Bull; infant sister, Bonnie; sister-in-law, Leona Kurtzweil; brothers-in-law, John Elsinger and Reuben Tetzlaff.
To honor Ruth’s wishes, private services were held.
