REAL ESTATE | Soft opening today for Old Navy in West Bend, WI

November 9, 2022 – West Bend, WI – The new Old Navy store, 1113 W. Paradise Drive, opened at noon today in West Bend, Wi. The store has been on the local radar since May 5, 2022, when WashingtonCountyInsider.com first posted plans for construction.

“My daughter works here,” said the woman leaving the store around 1 p.m. with a large blue-and-white Old Navy shopping bag.

Insider the store was abuzz with activity. Trendy winter wear is the hot topic.

There was a line at checkout as neighbors celebrated the latest retail franchise.

A similar enthusiasm was held two weeks ago when the new Dunham’s Sporting Goods opened on the east endcap. A Ross Dress for Less will be sandwiched by the stores and is currently undergoing a buildout.

Construction on the 13,000-square-foot store started in July 2022 and had a target completion date of October 1, 2022.

There are nine Old Navy stores in southeast Wisconsin including Old Navy on Sunset Drive in Waukesha, Bay Shore in Whitefish Bay, Johnson Creek, and Southridge.

Old Navy describes itself as “a clothing and accessories company owned and operated by Gap, Inc. Old Navy offers other brands, including Banana Republic, Athleta, Intermix, Hill City, and Janie and Jack.”

Shoppers should note the writing on the door reads “Open 24/7” however below that it says oldnavy.com.  The attendant at the front door said the 24/7 was for the website and not the store itself.

Dunham’s Sports also opened in that same strip, and Ross Dress for Less is opening next year in the former Office Max location.
