Obituary | Paul “Butch” F. Tutas, 87, of Port Washington

September 17, 2020 – Port Washington, WI – Paul “Butch” F. Tutas, of Port Washington, passed away at Harbor Cove on September 14, 2020. He was 87 years old. Paul was born on November 8, 1932 to Paul and Lillian (nee Turck) Tutas. On August 19, 1954, he married Beverly J. Tutas at First Congregational Church in Port Washington.

 

Obituary for Paul F. Tutas

Paul was active with the VFW post 5373 and American Legion post 82 for 60 years, where he assisted with the Smelt Fry. He participated in military organizations, both state and local and is part of the National Atomic Testing Museum in Las Vegas. Paul was a member of the Port Washington Wind Jammers Drum and Bugle Corps. He also enjoyed traveling, chauffeuring during antique trips, admiring old cars, visiting his Army buddies and attending his grandchildren’s events.

Paul is survived by his sons: Scott (Sandy) Tutas, Dean (Valenda) Tutas and Todd (Katie) Tutas, granddaughters: Brittany Dippel, Bethany Tutas, Jennifer Tutas, Stacey Tutas, Ashley Bruins and Emily Schwarten, grandsons Riley Tutas, Maxwell Tutas and Jeremy Tutas, 9 great-grandchildren, brother Dan (Mary) Tutas and sister Katherine Tutas. He is further survived by other relatives and friends.

Paul is preceded in death by his wife Beverly, infant son, sisters: Margaret and Eileen, sister-in-law Maxine E. Web and great-granddaughter Paisley Schwarten.

A private Funeral Service will be held. Visitation will be held at Eernisse Funeral Home 1600 West Grand Avenue, Port Washington on Tuesday, September 22, 2020 from 12:00 NOON until 2 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Honor Flight are appreciated. Paul will be laid to rest next to his wife Beverly at Union Cemetery in Port Washington will full military honors taking place.
