Pedestrian, 70, struck by vehicle in West Bend

November 9, 2020 – West Bend, WI –  A 70-year-old woman walking across the street at S. Indiana Avenue and E. Kilbourn Avenue in West Bend was struck by a vehicle at 7:40 a.m., Monday, November 9.

Officers from the West Bend Police Department and Fire Department responded.
Upon arrival, police officers identified the female had a head injury. The woman was conscious and alert.
The woman was crossing S. Indiana Avenue in the crosswalk when a vehicle struck her.
The 30-year-old male driver was turning to go southbound on S. Indiana when he struck the woman.
The West Bend Fire Department transported the woman to Froedtert West Bend Hospital.
West Bend Police cited the 30-year-old driver for Failure to Yield Right-of-Way to Pedestrian.
