September 12, 2021 – Hartford, WI – Motorcyclist enjoyed beautiful weather during Saturday’s Freedom Ride in Hartford.
In the evening neighbors participated in the 9/11 luminary walk.
A total of 2,983 paper bags were lined up beginning at the gazebo at Rotary Park, 1 Grand Avenue, Hartford, and end at Bernd Park. Each bag had a name of a person who perished on 9/11. The bags were illuminated at dusk.
A remembrance ceremony honoring those who perished on 9/11 was held at 8:15 p.m. at Bernd Park. The ceremony concluded with a prayer and taps being played.
