May 5, 2017 – West Bend, WI – Under sunny skies with chilly morning temperatures in the low 40s the crew from West Bend Crane Inc. completed a 2-day job and removed a local landmark.
The ‘bridge to nowhere’ is no more. In its heyday the bridge linked the downtown Main Street business district to the former Outlet Mall on Veterans Avenue. It was a climate controlled bridge that was fully enclosed and provided a walkway from behind the West Bend Theatre over the Milwaukee River.
