West Bend, WI – Cedar Community is pleased to announce the promotion of Cheri Manthei to director of facility services.
In this role, Cheri will manage emergency preparedness, life safety, campus security, and compliance efforts–as well as support the work of Todd Miller, vice president of facility services, in the day-to- day operations of the facility services team. Manthei recently served as the facility office manager at Cedar Community.
Manthei’s career at Cedar Community spans 27 years, starting when she was a junior in high school. She was hired into the nursing assistant training program. Upon completion of the course, she took the certification exam to become a certified nursing assistant (CNA). After graduation, Manthei worked as a CNA until a position became available in financial services working with accounts receivables.

In 2001, Manthei transitioned to nurse scheduling. She spent 11 years as a scheduler before human resources offered her a position as a recruiter, a position she held until 2021 when she moved to facility services.
“Cheri has been a great addition to the facility services department, managing the workflow, keeping the department organized and efficient, and providing outstanding customer service to our team and vendors. Her initiative and attention to detail allows me to focus on the current renovation projects to further expand our services,” said Todd Miller, vice president of facility management. “I am proud our team has one of the few female leaders in this sector.”
Other promotions within the facility department include Tom Riggert who has been promoted to project manager and will oversee all construction and capital improvement projects across all Cedar Community campuses. Riggert has worked with the construction and facility team for 18 years.
Jesse Mosca, facility operations supervisor, will now be responsible for maintenance of all of Cedar Community’s West Bend campuses including Cedar Ridge, Cedar Ridge Homes, the Cedar Lake Village Homes, The Cottages, The Willows at Cedar Lake, Cedar Bay East, and the Cedar Lake Health and Rehabilitation Center. Mosca has been with Cedar Community since 2021.
