Neighbors in West Bend who pay their property taxes in installments have until Monday, Feb. 1 to make the first installment.
This year the city started a new two-payment plan. The first payment is due Jan. 31 but since that date falls on a Sunday the finance department said the payment can be made Monday, Feb. 1.
There will be no interest or penalty.
The second and final installment for 2016 is due July 31, which is also a Sunday. That payment can be made Aug. 1 with no penalty or interest.
Remember the second payment this year will be at the Washington County Treasurer.
The finance department at City Hall is open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
