March 4, 2024 – West Bend, WI – During the Tuesday, March 5 Plan Commission meeting a site plan for a 40,000 sq. ft. building addition and parking lot addition will be reviewed for Moraine Park Technical College, 2151 N. Main Street, West Bend, WI.

The addition on the 48-acre campus would be for the Advanced Manufacturing Center, which is on the northeast corner of the Moraine Park Technical College (MPTC) building.
The addition would extend to the north from the existing 2011 Tool and Die addition. Building renovations are also proposed as a part of the project.
The existing parking lot north of the building addition at Moraine Park Technical College will be reconstructed and reconfigured to accommodate the addition. 465 standard parking stalls and 24 barrier-free parking stalls are proposed for the site. The zoning code requires 1 parking stall per every two students at the largest class attendance period and one parking stall per teacher and staff member.
This development is part of the November 2022 referendum for $55 million which included facilities upgrades at the West Bend, Wi, campus.
The Plan Commission meeting begins at 6 p.m. on March 5, 2024, in the council chambers at City Hall, 1115 S. Main Street.
Also on the agenda are two major residential developments at the southwest corner of Decorah Road and Sand Drive.
