West Bend, Wi – Mother Nature was smiling on Spring Fling at Schmidt Century Farm on Saturday as families flocked to the 5th-generation farm to snuggle baby animals, sample homemade bakery, and relish in the sweet aroma of being outdoors atop St. Anthony Road just east of Allenton, Wi.
The pigs were a hot commodity. The kids squealed and so did the piglets. Famiies climbed onboard the farm wagon for a tractor tour of cows on pasture while others explored the barnyard seeking week-old kittens, baby rabbits, and Nigerian baby goats.
