Regner Park pool/beach in West Bend is closed today, Sunday, June 12.
West Bend Park & Rec director Craig Hoeppner said the pool is closed because of the cooler weather and because of the emergency incident on Saturday.
Rescue crews received a call around 5:50 p.m. regarding a 6-year-old girl who had been pulled from the water.
CPR was being administered to the girl by the time emergency crews arrived. The girl was taken by ambulance to St. Joseph’s Hospital and then transported by Flight for Life to Children’s Hospital in Milwaukee.
Hoeppner had a brief meeting Sunday morning with lifeguards.
The Regner Park pool / beach will reopen at 11 a.m. on Monday, June 13.
We’re still awaiting information on the condition of the girl pulled from the water.
