Dec. 27, 2018 – West Bend, WI – The removal of the Historic West Bend Theatre sign is underway in downtown West Bend.
The sign is being removed for refurbishment.
Poblocki Sign Company is going to restore the sign and the marquee. It will be transported to the Poblocki shop for electrical, carpentry and painting.
The reinstallation of both the sign and marquee is slated for this summer.
There are 235 bulbs on each face of the sign, for a total of 470. That doesn’t include the bulbs on the marquee.
The new bulbs will all be LED for conservation purposes.
