Jackson, WI – The team at Retirement Understood has settled into its new office space at 4466 Hwy P, Suite 107, Jackson, WI. The location is kiddie corner to Washington County Fair Park, just south of the roundabout at Pleasant Valley Road and Hwy P.
Randy Haeuser is President of Retirement Understood, a local company designed to help retirees understand their retirement from insurance to social security to benefits.
“We focus on Medicare supplements, health insurance for people under 65, and long-term care,” said Haeuser. “We have partners on the legal side for tax planning and financial services; our big strength is insurance and making sure you make the correct decisions and what that means for your retirement.”

There is no cost for Retirement Understood to run quotes or research social security to determine the best timing when someone should start initiating benefits.
“Over my 18-year career I’ve found being upfront and honest works best,” said Haeuser. “Rather than force someone into a certain plan or coverage I try to help find a good fit with what they’re looking for and what makes sense for them. I let the client make the choice.”
Meetings times vary from 30 minutes to a little over an hour. “I don’t rush through appointments,” said Haeuser. “I want people to be satisfied when they leave.”
