7 fire departments respond to Richfield house fire | By Washington Co. Sheriff

January 11, 2022 – Village of Richfield, WI – On Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at approximately 8:10 a.m., the Washington County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call from a resident in the 1500 block of Sleepy Hollow Drive in the Village of Richfield advising he could see a roof of a residence on Valley View Drive on fire.

The Richfield Fire Department was paged and the call was upgraded to a MABAS call.

Fire Departments from Germantown, Jackson, Slinger, Hartford, Allenton, and Lisbon responded to assist.

Upon arrival the first responding deputy located the residence at 1516 Valley View Drive. There was smoke and flames observed coming from the roof. The fire was able to be fully extinguished by 9:15 a.m.
The residence sustained significant damage, but it was not occupied at the time of the fire. The Richfield Fire Department has requested the assistance of a Fire Investigator from the Sheriff’s Office and this is an active investigation.
