Dec. 17, 2016 – West Bend, WI – The River Shores YMCA group held a Holiday Party with a pre-party theme, ‘Find the Elf on the Shelf.’
The Y staff cooperated in hiding the Elf every morning at 5 a.m., then validating those who had located the hidden Elf, filled out a ticket, and then hoped their name would be drawn for a Y contributed prize. Everyone had fun, and the little Elf certainly had a grand tour of the River Shores Y!
The culmination of the Elf’s hiding was the Holiday Party on Dec. 13 at the Kingpin Bowling Alley. The group did a collection of food (110 pounds), cash and checks ($135) to benefit the Full Shelf Food Pantry.Â
There were prizes awarded by the Elf from the Y, and also contributed by generous donors.
