October 25, 2021 – Kewaskum, WI – The Pickering brothers, Gavin and Garret, did the students and staff at St. Lucas Lutheran School in Kewaskum proud this weekend as the pair finished well at the National Lutheran Cross Country Championship held at Concordia University.
Gavin secured 3rd team all American by taking 17th place with a time of 12.01.1 in the two mile. Garret finished 32nd with a time of 12:25.1.
The overall winner was Ethan Hackman from St. John’s Lutheran in West Bend. Hackman finished in a time of 11:18.7.
The Pickering boys were given an encouraging sendoff by St. Lucas Lutheran School on Friday as students gathered with handmade signs and wished the boys well.
