West Bend, Wi – Are you following local speedskating superstar Jordan Stolz of Kewaskum?This year TheBikeWriTer.com will be documenting its bicycle tour from Salt Lake City, Utah.
Salt Lake City was the first stop and it was a great start to the journey.
Flights were on time, bike arrived unscathed, met some great new friends and my credit card got cancelled, but all in all a great first day in Salt Lake City, Utah.


My host was Roger, his wife Jael and their son Rodrigo. Roger loved to have adventure. He wrote ”Life-changing article” on the cover of the issue of National Geographic saying he was inspired over the years to tour many different countries. He’d work for two years to save enough money so he could pedal for two years.
It was interesting to learn he did not inform his wife they would be having a house guest…

This year’s tour is intended to highlight previous Winter Olympics as we head into the 2026 Winter Games in Milan, Italy.
