Obituary | Dale D. Schloemer, 77, of West Bend, WI

West Bend, Wi – Dale D. Schloemer died on Friday, June 9, 2023 at Hospice Home of Hope in Fond du Lac at the age of 77. He was born on July 31, 1945 to the late Delbert and Virginia Schloemer.

Dale started working at a young age at the West Bend Company before working at Johnson Brass in Saukville for 22 years. He then also worked as an apartment manager for over 30 years until the time of his passing. Dale served his community as a volunteer fireman in the City of West Bend for many years.

 

Dale loved music and played in a family band called the “Beertones.” They played at numerous events in the area. He also loved listening to music, especially music from the 50’s and 60’s, oldies, country and polkas.

 

He loved having his cats, ice-cream, chocolate chip cookies and watching wrestling, the Packers and old western movies.

 

Dale is survived by his son Dale B. (Therese) of West Bend, 2 granddaughters Brittany (Jeremiah) Moll of Slinger and Bridget (James) Grover of Malone and 5 great-grandchildren: Payton, Callie and Noah Moll and Shalyn and Rowan Grover. He is further survived by his brother-in-law Melvin Kotajarvi of Lake Linden, MI, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

 

He is preceded in death by 4 brothers: Robert, David, Dennis “Whitey” and Donald “DJ” and his former wife Joyce.

 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, June 16, 2023 at 11 a.m. at Holy Angels Catholic Church with Rev. Howard Haase presiding. Burial will follow in Holy Angels Cemetery. The family will greet visitors at the church only from 10 a.m. until 10:45 a.m.
