April 11, 2025 – Boltonville, WI – Emergency crews are on scene of a 3 vehicle crash involving a school bus, dump truck, and pickup truck at the intersection of CTH H and STH 144 near Boltonville. The call came in around 9 a.m.
There were no children on the bus. A wrecker and a flatbed truck are on scene to deal with cleanup. Theres no word on any injuries.

I recall the bus accident my daughters and others from Newburg were in.
the bus was taking area kids to holy angels school, back when our oldest was in 5th grade and youngest in 2nd.
A dump truck push the bus right into the bridge by the entry for then West Bend Company.

A little while later I got a call at work from Johnson bus Phil my daughter was one that got injured.
thankfully know juries as I read or children on the bus here yesterday.
This intersection (Cty H and State 144) has a high frequency of left-turn traffic from three directions. The state DOT really ought to consider whether a traffic circle would be an appropriate countermeasure to reduce crashes here, or at least the severity of them.
