March 6, 2021 – West Bend, WI – Nonprofit organizations have been hit especially hard with the challenges of navigating COVID-19. That’s why Schreiber Foods offered a special opportunity to help organizations fund efforts specific to COVID-19 relief.
Schreiber donated more than $400,000 to 42 organizations throughout the U.S., and seven of those organizations are right here in West Bend including the Cedar Community and Senior Citizens Activities Inc.
Nonprofits that serve communities where a Schreiber facility is located could apply for grant or sponsorship support.
“Although we would love to be able to support every organization that submitted a request, we focused on organizations that support our primary giving areas: health and human services, community development, and education and lifelong learning,” said Heather Milbach, Community Relations Manager at Schreiber.
