West Bend, Wi – After a several-year hiatus, the West Bend Friends of Sculpture is bringing Sculpture & Savor back on Saturday, September 19, 2026. It will be a fun, relaxed day celebrating some of the things that make West Bend such a great community—public art, great food, music, creativity and friends.
There will be plenty to see and do throughout the day:
Take a Sculpture Trolley Tour
Hop aboard for a guided tour of West Bend’s remarkable downtown public sculpture collection, including many of the works that West Bend Friends of Sculpture has helped bring to our community. Trolley tours will depart at 10 a.m.and 11:30 a.m.Seating is limited, so I strongly recommend reserving your trolley tickets early.
Experience a Live Sculpture Pour
This may be one of the most memorable parts of the day. Artist Teresa Lind and her team will fire up the furnace and melt aluminum right at the event. Guests can carve their own design into a small sand mold, then watch as glowing molten aluminum is poured into it. Once it cools, your creation is yours to take home. Teresa will explain the casting process, and Friends of Sculpture board member and artist Tom Lidtke will be on hand to provide guidance to help guests develop their designs.
Enjoy Food and Live Music
There will be food along with live music and entertainment from She’s Right and I’m Left, adding to the relaxed festival atmosphere throughout the day.There will also be walking tours of the sculptures at Regner Park, activities for children, opportunities to meet artists and other art lovers, and a cash bar featuring beer and wine.
Come for an hour or spend the whole day. The idea is simply to enjoy great art, good food, music and one another’s company.
