Preliminary investigation shows Alajandro Alfaro, 31-years-old from Elgin, IL,  was operating a a 2016 Freightliner north on County Highway TW.

Alfaro failed to stop for the stop sign and struck a 1999 Peterbilt operated eastbound on State Highway 33 by Royce Shultis, 58-years-old from Reedsburg, WI.

Road blockage caused both lanes of State Highway 33 to be shut down until the debris could be cleared. As of approximately 10:35 a.m. the eastbound lane of State Highway 33 has been re-opened.  The westbound lane is still closed until removal of the semis is complete.
