December 5, 2023 – Dodge Co, WI – Shortly before 2:00 p.m. on Monday, December 4, 2023, a serious traffic crash was reported on State Highway 73 at County Highway CD, in the town of Westford, about 1.5 miles south of the village of Randolph.
The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the crash and has determined a southbound car driven by a 66-year-old Randolph woman attempted to make a U-turn at the intersection to go northbound. The car turned into the path of a southbound semi-tractor driven by a 53-year-old rural Fox Lake man.
The woman was flown from the scene by medical helicopter with suspected serious, but non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the semi-tractor did not report any injury. There were no other occupants of either vehicle.
The crash remains under investigation.
Assisting the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office at the scene were Randolph Fire and EMS, Beaver Dam Paramedics, and Flight For Life.
