Shepherd of the Hills church picnic, raffle set for Sunday, May 19

What is a picnic without delicious food? You will be able to purchase hot turkey or pulled pork meals that include mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, and relishes for only eight dollars.  Hot turkey and pulled pork sandwiches with relishes can also be bought for five dollars, as can hotdogs for children.

How about desserts? A dessert bake-off will also be held. Judges will select the best desserts in each category (tortes, pies, cake & cupcakes, and bars & cookies), and picnickers will get a sample.  If you have a prize-worthy dessert you want to enter in the bake-off, please go to https://www.sothparish.org/ scroll down to the picnic post and enroll.

What picnic doesn’t have good music and fun?  Request Entertainment will DJ music for enjoyment and dancing.  If weather permits, there will be a Gaga Ball tournament for children.

In addition, you can try your luck at a 50/50 raffle.  Plus, SOTH will hold its first Spring Raffle drawing at 2 p.m. for the grand prize of $10,000. Second and third prizes are $1,000. Fourth and fifth prizes are $800. Sixth and seventh prizes are $500 each. And the eighth-place prize will be $400.

Tickets are still available for purchase from the SOTH Church office at 920-477-3201. Tickets cost $100 each and can also be purchased at Dotyville Hardware, American Family Insurance in Campbellsport, and Baumhardt Sand and Gravel in Eden, WI.  Only 300 tickets will be sold for the Spring Raffle, so hurry before they are gone. You do not have to be present to win.
