Shooting incident in neighboring Dodge County | By Dodge County Sheriff

Oct. 26, 2018 – Beaver Dam, WI – At 5:36 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 26, 2018 the Beaver Dam Police Department responded to a domestic disturbance at 510 Walnut Street in the City of Beaver Dam.  During the investigation officers on scene were involved in a use of force situation and shots were fired by law enforcement.  A 35-year-old male was injured with non-life threatening injures and was transported to the hospital for treatment.

The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the use of force portion of this incident in collaboration with the Dodge County District Attorney’s Office.  No further information will be released at this time.

At 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 27, 2018 a press conference will take place at the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office, 124 West St, Juneau, WI. Dodge County Sheriff Dale Schmidt and Beaver Dam Police Chief John Kreuziger will provide a statement at that time.
