August 8, 2023 – Dodge County, WI – On August 8, 2023, at 3:38 p.m., Dodge County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a single-vehicle rollover crash on County Highway E, west of Swan Road, in the township of Burnett, Dodge County, Wisconsin.
Initial investigation showed a 2004 Ford F350 truck, driven by Andrew Mullin of Juneau, was westbound on County Highway E when he came upon other westbound vehicles that had slowed down due to a vehicle turning into a driveway.
The investigation shows the truck turned sharply to the left into the eastbound lane followed by an over-correction to the right. This caused the truck to start a clockwise skid and, while partially in the south ditch, the truck began to overturn.
Andrew Mullin was partially ejected from the truck and needed to be extricated. He was flown by Flight for Life to Aurora Medical Center in Summit with severe injuries.
Assisting at the scene was Burnett Fire Department, Horicon EMS, Beaver Dam Paramedics, Horicon Fire Department, Juneau Fire Department, Flight for Life, and DCERT.
The crash is currently under investigation by the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office Crash Investigation Team.
