We started the morning off once again by sending member Ally Loosen to State Honors Band practice with her trumpet.

Around the same time Brooke Kiefer set up her “Star in Agricultural Placement” booth. Brooke spent most of her day interacting and sharing her story with the members and guests in attendance.

Throughout the day Slinger FFA members participated in a variety of workshops and events. Topics included, “Moving Forward & Joining Forces to Live a Life of Blue and Gold,” “FFA Family Feud,” “Stepping up your Social Media” and we even got to meet National Officer David Lopez. Members also expanded their horizons regarding local businesses and companies that support FFA by attending the “State FFA Convention Expo.”

Members Ben McMeeken and Paul Loosen were honored to be delegates and vote for the 2021-2022 Section 10 State Officer.

The Slinger FFA Chapter attended all three sessions offered today. In the “Special State Degree Session” member Ally Gundrum got to walk across the stage and receive her 2020 State FFA Degree.

In the “Fourth General Session” members Broc Bingen, Kylee Henneberry, Brooke Kiefer, Hope Lockstaedt and Kaylee Pingel accepted their State FFA Degrees.

In the “Fifth General Session” members sat in anticipation to hear the results of Brooke Kiefer in the category of “Star In Agricultural Placement.”

We can’t wait to see what the final day of the 92nd Wisconsin FFA Convention holds for the Slinger FFA chapter.
