February 26, 2022 – Slinger, WI – You have three votes for Slinger School Board on April 5. Please vote to re-elect Gary Feltz, Roman Weninger and myself, Joe Havey to the Slinger School Board.
I joined the board in 2013 because I loved the community/school relationship, but also to improve the strength of our school staff engagement and partnership with the board. As a manager in corporate settings, I wanted to help guide the school system toward a business model for managing our team. This model included a mix of staff accountability; holding team members to the Slinger Standard, plus managerial accountability where the school board builds a new relationship, post-Act 10, within the school system.
The past two years of Covid-related issues and the latest false accusations regarding our curriculum, board member communication and leadership and overall accusations made against all of us have proven we, as a community, a district, and as school board members have succeeded in building a stronger relationship as we are coming through this more unified than ever.
Community members tell me they know the statements about Slinger are false and misleading and they will vote for the three incumbents. This, along with endorsements we have received, confirms the relationship is strong. Endorsements include local business owners, individual community members and the Slinger Education Association (SEA). As conservative board members in a conservative community, we welcome the broad support these endorsements represent.
We have support across the political spectrum because we support what is best for Slinger. The past relationship was strong, the current relationship is even stronger!
Please vote – Gary Feltz – Roman Weninger – Joe Havey on April 5, so we can continue to make a positive difference for you.
