Jan. 27, 2017 – Slinger, WI – The Slinger girls basketball team played an exceptionally hard-fought game against host Beaver Dam Golden Beavers.
At half time Slinger’s Emily Rothenhoefer hit a half-court shot to put the Owls ahead 31-29.
The Golden Beavers came back into the game at end of the half-time to take control of the game with their incredibly strong bench to win the game 61 – 47.
This final score is the closest margin the Golden Beavers allowed an opponent to score against them.
Slinger is now 11-5 over all and the Golden Beavers remain undefeated.
Slinger plays at home Monday night against Nicolet.
