March 3, 2022 – Slinger, WI – To prepare for Ash Wednesday this week and the season of Lent, St. Peter Catholic School, 206 E. Washington Street, staff and students joined together in the gym to nail their sins to the cross and talk about Lent.
The school extends a big thank you to Mrs. DeVries and Mrs. Orlowski for all their help.
The season of Lent began on March 2, 2022, and ends on Thursday, April 14, 2022.
According to Merriam-Webster, Lent means “the 40 weekdays from Ash Wednesday to Easter observed by the Roman Catholic, Eastern, and some Protestant churches as a period of penitence and fasting.”
