T.J. Justice case goes to jury trial in Waukesha Co.

Former West Bend City Administrator T.J. Justice was in Waukesha County court today for a hearing. Justice pleaded not guilty to a pair of felony charges of Child Enticement and Soliciting a Child for Prostitution in connection with an April 21 incident in Muskego.

According to records from the Wisconsin Circuit Courts:

 

Defendant Thomas M Justice in court with Attorney Steven Richard Kohn. Michele W. Hulgaard appeared for the State of Wisconsin. Attorney Kohn states he has not been able to contact the charging district attorney in this case.

 

Court sets case for jury status and jury trial. Bail remains as fixed. Jury status hearing scheduled for December 8, 2016 at 9:30 am. Jury trial – 12 person scheduled for December 13, 2016 at 8:30 am.

 

Since charges were filed Justice has returned to his home in Cincinnati, OH.

 

If convicted Justice faces up to $200,000 in fines or imprisoned not more than 50 years or both.
